What is REAL sourdough?
Many bakeries make a sourdough by shortcutting the process of the natural yeasts by adding commercial yeast to the dough in order to reduce the time for production, and vinegar to give it the sour taste.
We believe that the best nutrition comes from allowing the natural yeasts found in the sourdough start to process the gluten, so that your body doesn’t have to. This is why many who are gluten intolerant are able to eat real sourdough breads.
To that end, the first ingredient of all our products is “Time”.
